Marmee is Husband's mom, Grandma is my mom, and Grammy Ro is the original Scott's mom. We named our son after her son who was killed in a bicycle accident when he was 11. He was Husband's best friend. I have never seen Scott with such instant affection for someone. It's almost like he already knew who she was. It is a huge house that was built on the side of a mountain by some wealthy, prominent Oregonian back in the early 20th century. It wasn't the most kid friendly, but Scott did really well. It was very cool to walk around and see all the old furniture and how many 'modern' conveniences they had. I am so thankful for these cultural passes b/c it made all these events possible as I would not pay $8 each to go see these all at once.
